FRUSTRATION

MAGAZINE

IRREVERENT FRUSTRATION is the practical component of my Master’s final project. A conceptual fashion magazine exploring the intersection between emotion, revolt, and editorial form. It investigates how frustration and contradiction can be transformed into creative and political expression within contemporary visual culture.

THIS IS REBELLION IN PRINT.

A fashion magazine shaped by the spirit of Romantic art, where feeling triumphs over form, and contradictions are worn like armour. Rooted in beauty but born of rupture, IRREVERENT FRUSTRATION reclaims the visual codes of the industry not to mock them, but to rewire them.

It’s a revolt made of pages. An emotional object. A curated mess. Bound and tactile, yet fragmented in its construction: layered, interrupted, deliberately unfinished. The magazine channels the frustration of a generation trapped between hyper-visibility and emotional repression. It reclaims anger, vulnerability, and desire as editorial tools, not just themes.

Each issue is a visceral artefact: a hybrid of print and digital, past and present, order and chaos. It speaks through textures, references, and margins. It dares to romanticise rage, and to politicise beauty.

IRREVERENT FRUSTRATION is not nostalgic. It’s not ironic, it’s sincere, stubborn, poetic, and precise.

It’s a protest dressed in editorial format, a collectible that bleeds.
